1972 Apollo 16

  • The Apollo is a slooped rigged day sailor with roller furling jib and a swing centerboard. The lines on this boat are extremely fast and was originally developed by the designer of the laser. It has a round bottom with a narrow entry. If This boat can hold up to 4 adults. There is one reef piont in the mailsail. The length of the boat is 16 feet.

I would comment that this boat is for an intermediate level sailor because it can be squirrelly in high winds without the proper crew weight. It is a really fun boat in light to med air, and with proper crew....great in heavy air.

There are bailers in the floor, but they do not work, so they were closed and covered with silocone. Mast, halyards, sail are otherwise in good condition. Hull is in good shape and is water tight.
