Exterior Features
In 1999 the whole boat was striped of hardware and windows then painted with Awl Grip. Window glass was replaced and all hardware re-beded. Bottom paint redone in 2008.

This boat is ready to sail on land or water. She is in the water at Lake Kerr in Salliaw, OK. Her better points are the amount of storage, enclosed head and large cabin. Her sailing ability is better than her reputation for being tender. She'll sail in light air and with proper sail selection drive to windward with the best of them. Another criticism of the A23, the drop in rudder, I find a plus. Remove it and you can back right onto a beach. In heavy winds the rudders location and size gives great control and little helm.

In 2003 the braking system was rebuilt with a new master cylinder, brake cylinders, brake pads and lines. Next all the bearing, seals and races were replaced. New trailer lighting and wiring was done the next year (04).This trailer is ready for the road and pulls like a dream. She does need a paint job.
