2002 Bolger Bobcat 12
The Bobcat is a 12.5' cat boat designed by Phil Bolger, with build book by Harold Payson. Payson describes the boat as being quick, agile and as sailing like a witch, and I agree. It sails big, and is stable and comfortable. I have been using it as a camp cruiser in the Keys, Charlotte Harbor, in Lake George, and for local day sailing. It is fiberglass over AC fir with all wood spars and weights 250 lbs.. The boat was built in 2002, garaged and sailed five times until I bought it in the past year. It is in near perfect condition - excellent carpentry and like new sail. Fairing is a bit uneven, but it still looks great and is very solid. It comes with an excellent galvanized trailer with new bunks, lights, winch, and tires. Also comes with a tent cabin for overnighting, a Guardian Fortress anchor custom fitted to the deck of the boat for easy deployment and clean retrieval, new stainless steal adjustable motor mount, build book, plans, and full size stencils.
