1994 Bolger Gypsy
15' x 4'4"
Home-built plywood epoxy construction.
Daggerboard with swing-up rudder.
Sail in good condition.
Useable trailer with old tires but the lights were just rewired and work.
Rows and sails well; a bit tender initially but stable once you get the second chine buried.
Oars and oarlocks are included, and stow nicely within the boat.
I just finished replacing a couple rotted plywood hull sections and patching/fairing many areas with epoxy. Parts of the rubrail are new. It has a new foredeck with longitudinal framing, new bow cleat, new paint inside and out, newly varnished seats, and new tiller with extension. I added a transom drain and plug, plus limber holes so the boat can be cleaned easily and not hold water if stored outdoors. Has new foam buoyancy added fore and aft.
All papers are in order, and registration is current.
Thank you, David. The Gypsy (https://www.sailingtexas.com/sbolgergypsya.html) sold last week. Although bought by a person locally, primarily through word of mouth, it still helped the buyer to see the ad on your site. I also had three interested buyers who learned about the boat solely through your site.
I will pursue a small donation in thanks for your service.
Sincerely,
Paul
