1967 Bristol 27

    HULL
    White with a blue stripe and a red stripe above the waterline. The deck is pale blue and white with s/s pulpit and pushpit. No below the waterline thru-hole fittings - all above. I did the bottom (new paint) in April and it is currently spotless.

    RIGGING
    The rigging is over-spec'd and in excellent condition. I inspected chain plates recently and all are good. The port shrouds have oak ratlines (steps) - excellent in viewing shallow waters. The running rigging would probably be replaced if a "neater" boat was required, but it is still perfectly functional. The jib & main halyards are s/s wire spiced rope and in good condition. A total of 6 halyards. The jib sheets have snap blocks with a choice of tracks inside or outside the shrouds. + - $250 un-used new lines & shackles etc. for misc. rigging.

    DECK

  • 2 barient 15 coachroof mounted winches
  • 2 2 speed lewmar cockpit winches
  • all lines lead to cockpit for single-handing
  • All teak (excellent condition)toe-rails, coamings and misc. mountings - all varnished or oiled.
  • No evidence of rot. Teak in excellent condition.
  • No "soft patches" within the deck.
  • solar powered ventilation fan in forepeak.

    SAIL LOCKER

  • sail covers in good condition.
  • main custom with markers fully battened 1 reef point and/or roller boom (the battens roll perfectly) excellent cond.
  • 1 Scheaffer roller-furler 100% good condition - used daily
  • 1 Scheaffer roller-furler 135% good condition - good for down wind or light airs
  • 1 Scheaffer roller-furler 110% fair condition - spare
  • 1 hank on storm jib 100% in excellent condition.
  • 1 x extending whisker pole

    GROUND TACKLE

  • 1 25lb CQR 20 ft heavy chain 250 ft rode
  • 1 med danforth 20 ft chain 150 ft rode
  • 1 large danforth 20 ft heavy chain 130 ft rode
  • 1 16lb Delta anchor 10ft coated chain & 100 ft rode
  • 1 dingy anchor
  • 5 large fenders with rail mounting for 2
  • mooring ball/fender + swivel
  • plenty mooring lines

    ENGINE Yamaha 9.9 4/stroke longshaft (1 gallon gas for 4 hours motoring) in good condition (starts every time) with forward control, electric start & 8 amp charging. I service the motor every 100 hours regularly. Plenty of engine spares on board including a spare propellor. 2 fuel tanks 1 x 4 gal 1 x 6 gal + 3 x 6 gal jug (approx 100 hours).

    BATTERIES

  • 2 large marine wet cel in good condition.
  • 2 bank marine battery-charger fitted - 10 amp per bank.
  • (also have a 650 watt inverter but currently not working ).

    The boat needed new wiring and plumping - ALL has been replaced - now a 14 station switchboard with digital voltage and current monitoring.

    ELECTRONICS

  • VHF radio with ariel on top of mast.
  • autohelm 800 for the tiller - life saver - also has a remote Depth sounder
  • 2 gps's : 1 x garmin 1 x magellan
  • Generator set Honda 4 stroke 1000 watt - can run the Panasonic A/C.
  • 1 anemometer - not installed

  • forpeak and cabin has 6 ft person sleep-ability (i'm 6'2")
  • cooker is a 2 burner propane with 2 x 20 lb bottles.
  • water storage 10 gallons + jugs = total 21 gallons.
  • I normally drink bottled water.
  • Galley electric auto sink pump removes brown water
  • foot fresh-water pump.
  • brass oil lamp gimballed.
  • Flourescent lights throughout (minimal power maximum light)

    REFRIDGERATION / AIRCONDITIONER

  • built in ice box with Norcold 110 v cold plate
  • Panasonic air conditioner 110 v
  • (the above great for the marina).
