This is the race version of the Cal 9.3 MORC design with a 2 cylinder Universal diesel. (The boat that was designed by Ron Holland for Jeanneau and was than licensed by Cal to build in the US). The boat was available in Standard specs. and also is Race (R) spec which traded iron for lead in the keel, extended the keel depth by 12" to 5'7", added about 2 feet to the mast height and added a second set of spreaders. The boat has all rod rigging, a dual tape drive for the head sail, adjustable rear backstay, and a keel step mast. This is a great club racer boat that rates from 164-168 or a overnighter/weekender for 4-6. The boat is right at 30' long and 10'4" wide and the interior has 5'11" headroom and a lot of room in the mid cabin with the generous beam. There is a mid cabin bathroom and a front cabin V-berth, with sleeping also in the main cabin and single back bed. There is a navigation station, two opening hatches, full kitchen area with sink, stove, and room for a microwave when hooked up to shore power (boat does have a 30amp shore power receptacle). The boat is in overall good condition, the hull has a fresh coat of VC-17 bottom paint and the hull sides a good buff and wax. The interior has new seat cushion covers throughout. The 11 hp Universal engine shows little use, runs very smooth and has a folding prop. The Boat does not come with a trailer, but the boat does include the cradle.
