1980's Cape Cod Mercury?, It looks like a Cape Cod Mercury, but it is only 13' 9", and has a 6 foot beam
This sailboat is a very stable wide beam fun sailer. It has a fiberglass hull, some teakwood, and mostly brass fittings, swinging centerboard, and a two piece aluminum swing up rudder. It has an aluminum mast and boom, stainless steel mast stays and fittings and all are in good condition. One person can easily step the mast and rig it for sailing in 10 minutes.
Main sail and jib are in good condition. The boat includes a bracket for an auxiliary motor and a small outboard motor. The outboard needs the carburetor cleaned out, (gummed up with old gas) otherwise it runs but is provided free to the purchaser with no guarantees. The boat shows some age, and could use a little paint and varnish for beatification. but is leak free, shipshape and ready to sail.
The trailer is galvanized, rust free, good wheels and tires and ready for travel.
Will deliver within 100 miles
Hi David
Thanks for your posting the ad, The boat sold.
I’m sure I will use your site again someday, maybe when I get ready to buy a larger multihull.
Thanks
Richard
