Mast height 31' 1/2" (from the WL)
I've owned this CD25 for a year. I had hoped that my family would enjoy
sailing as much as I do but it just didn't happen. I'm interested in
either selling this boat outright or trading for a cuddy cabin trailer
sailer. The boat is currently docked at slip 22 in the Bucaneer Bay West
Marina in Oriental, NC. It is available for viewing by appointment.
I won't be keeping my marina slip so it is available to my boat's new
owner at $100 a month.
My CD25 is in sail away condition. The hull and deck are sound although
the gelcoat has a couple of chips. No core rot. The mainsail is only a
few years old and is in excellent condition. The jib, genny, and storm
jib are older but are in good condition with no rips or tears.
Auxilary
power is a 2003 Tohatsu 6HP outboard that has been professionally
maintained.
It was given a tuneup only a few weeks ago. I've installed a modified motor
mount in the motor well that allows the outboard to pivot freely. This is
very handy when trying to control the boat when in reverse. The cabin
comfortably sleeps 2 adults and two kids. The cushions are in very good
condition with no rips or tears.
In the past year I have added a new stern rail and welded lifelines. I've
also replaced the running rigging and had the standing rigging inspected
by a local rigger. The fresh water lines have been replaced
and a new water filter installed. I also removed the old marine head and
holding tank and replaced it with a Thetford marine porta-potty. A Nicro
solar powered vent keeps the cabin from getting musty.
