This is a great Big, little boat. It sails very nicely and is very forgiving. Good starter boat or just something to have fun in. Capri 18's have closed cell foam laid throughout the boat in order to make the float in the event of an emergency. The boat is ready to drop in the water for the season. It has just been thoroughly cleaned and waxed.
White hull, with blue bottom, and blue stripe. Cabin is outfitted with white pleather cushions and pillows. The boat also has white pleather cockpit
cushions.
Includes original partial battened main sail with one set of reef points, and 110% hank on jib. Both sails are in good condition. Mast mounted Windex and
full running lights.
Bottom job consists of Interlux Interprotect barrier coat and Inerlux
bottom coat. Several layers of bottom coat are on the boat, with 3 new recent
layers. Bottom is in great shape.
All of the teak was refinished last year and is still in good shape. New Hatchway made out of PVC plastic, rewired mast, and a new battery/cabin sole cover.
The electrical system includes running lights, interior cabin lights, 12-volt accessory outlet, electrical panel and a 12-volt battery. Charging is provided by a large flexible 11-watt solar panel with a charge protector.
Coast guard safety equipment includes: 2 fire extinguishers, 5 life jackets, Air Horn, First Aid Kit, Flares and 12 gauge Flare Gun.
Other accessories include a hand held VHF, Riche Compass, Blue cooler, manual bilge pump, automatic west marine bilge pump, portable AM/FM/CD/Tape player, 5 new blue bumpers, 2 sets of blue dock lines, 2 blue winch covers, blue tiller cover, 2 blue life line covers, 2 water proof flashlights, battery operated fan, Anchor with 15' of chain and 100' of line.
The boat comes with 1987 5HP Nissan 2-stroke outboard motor that runs great. Just tuned for the season with new spark plug, tuned carburetor, new gas filter, and a new impeller assembly. The Engine has a portable 3 gallon
external gas tank, with a new hose and hand pump. The Out board is mounted on a
chrome spring loaded outboard bracket.
Boat comes with a black painted trailer that is in good shape, currently has no title; I am in the process of titling the trailer now. The trailer has newer tires, with spare, newer bearings, and new bearing buddies.
Boat is located in North-Eastern Pennsylvania, local delivery and aid in
commissioning available for a reasonable fee.
