The rigging is in perfect condition. Since I keep the boat in the water, there haven't been repeated mast raising/lowering. When I do raise/lower the mast, I'm very careful to make sure the turnbuckles are secure to prevent bending. I did replace two of the four turnbuckles because they weren't shiny enough.

The sails are original on the boat. Since the boat was used so sparingly (see below), the sails are in better condition than similar boats its age. All running rigging is in perfect condition. There are reef points on the mainsail and they too are in great condition.

The gelcoat is in great condition. The hull of the boat is literally unmarked and pristine.

I bought the boat in the summer of 2008. I am the second owner. The previous owner was in Michigan. He bought the boat in the spring of 2003. He sailed it for two seasons and then the boat sat in storage for 3 seasons. That's why the C-18 is in such great condition.

Some other things that come with the boat are a full supply of new life jackets, fire extinguisher, complete anchor system, winch handle, color coordinated dock lines and a full size Coleman cooler fitted specifically to the cabin of the boat. The boat is literally ready to put into the water and sail. There is no work that needs to be done to the boat, there are no additional items you need to purchase. It's ready to go.The boat has only been used in freshwater. During the off season, the boat has been professionally stored in a completely enclosed building.
