1989 Catalina 42, "Relax1"
Back from the islands and ready to go again! A popular three-stateroom version of the Catalina 42 with owner's private stateroom and separate head and shower. Very clean interior offering two large guest cabins and guest head with shower. RELAX1 is a handsome Catalina that has been lovingly cared for by her knowledgeable owners. She has never been in charter; the original owners kept the boat in fresh water on Lake Champlain and the owners, Canadians, have only cruised 6 months at a time, with the vessel out of the water the other 6 months, stored on the hard. Catalina Yachts modified the racing hull with a new cabin top, interior and rig in order to make it a comfortable coastal cruising boat which two people could easily handle. The spacious design is comfortable for a large crew. You will find little argument that the Catalina 42 is hard to match for her cruising comfort.
