New Listing and the best priced boat of this caliber that is well under 100K on the market. Just surveyed 5-09. Owner may consider a partial trade of a local boat and or delivery of the vessel to a new owner.
This is a very well laid out and professionally designed vessel from the desk of notable Naval Architect, David Pedrick. She was built in the renowned Cheoy Lee Yard in Hong Kong. She has a terrific layout for cruising with for and aft cabins, and a separate shower in the head. She is set up to cruise but has a lot of performance features for fast passagemaking.
This boat is also well equipped with Full Raytheon Instruments:
Raymarine ST6000 below deck pilot
Raymarine ST60 depth at helm
Raymarine ST60 WSI and ST60 Knotmeter in Nav pod over companionway along with
Raymarine Maxi view with display changer at helm.
Raymarine RL80 48 mile Radar with stern rail mounted post for the Radome
Icom M502 VHF
Icom M700 SSB
And great sails including a 2006 Main with a strong track and a 135% genoa as well as spinnakers and storm sails.
She also has a low 1600 hours on her Perkins 4108 50hp.
The listing agent has known the Cheoy Lee Builder and particularly this model of boat for many years. This Pedrick 41 model is a very popular model which debuted in 1981 and this 1989 model incorporates all the modern upgrades made by the renowned Cheoy Lee yard.
The history of the builder dates back over 100 years. The yard used to fabricate every part of the boat from the winches down to the smallest hinge but by the time the Pedrick Series was started all of the gear was imported and of the highest quality: Lewmar hatches, Barient Winches, Kenyon Spars etc. This particular vessel appears to have spent some time in northern climates as is evident from the condition of her decks and low engine hours of under 1600.
This design is first and foremost a fast offshore cruising boat that thrives in offshore seas. She is meant to sail in comfort and has the storage and accommodations for long term passage making.

Hull Below Waterline
This boat is the standard 6' draft keel version.
The bottom was inspected on the haul out for survey in May 2009.
The survey and photos are available to potential buyers. The bottom paint is good with many months of life left and the hull itself is clean with no damage to the hull, rudder, keel or running gear. There are some very minor sporadic outer gelcoat blisters mainly on the port side and on the rudder. Note: because Cheoy Lee vessels were not production boats, there was not one hull laid up after another; so the hulls were known to have two layers of gelcoat on because one layer was sprayed in to protect the mold and, when another boat was sold, a new layer of gelcoat was sprayed on top of the first and then the hull built. The small gelcoat blisters on the hull are between these two layers and you can see gelcoat below a blister if they are opened. This is a common occurrence on Cheoy Lee boats of this era. If desired, a new owner could grind out the small blisters and fill them with fairing epoxy, but these minor blisters are purely cosmetic. The survey did not show any signs of any laminate blistering.
