1983 CL 14
This 14 foot sloop has remarkable
stability with a double chine, planning hull. It is very easy to handle
with a roller furling jib and simple rig. I have kept it on a lift the last
4 years but it is very easy and quick to rig and launch from its custom
trailer.
It has sail covers for the jib and main when left rigged and two
automatic bailers so that you can leave it uncovered on a lift or trailer
without it filling up with water. It has a boom vang, topping lift,
outhaul, and mid boom sheeting - with the roller furling line lead aft it is
easy to single handle. The rudder has a kick up feature and the tiller has
an extension. The center board works smoothly and can be pinned fully up or
fully down.
The hull is in excellent shape. The top sides are good with a
couple of minor nicks. The rigging is in good working order. The sails are
original with one very small repair on the main foot.
The manufacturer is still in business and is very helpful with advice
and replacement parts.
The lift can be had for an additional $200 or I will
keep it for the next (larger) sailboat.

Please mark my CL 14 SOLD! Thanks. The buyer indicated that the pictures sold them on the boat. I am now shopping for the next sailboat and hope I can find it on your site.
