1975 Clipper Marine

  • Has a swing keel for easy trailering, and great for anchoring close to shore in as little as 6" of water!
  • Includes Littleton single-axle trailer
  • 1985 Johnson Sailmaster 8 hp long shaft engine. Engine was recently serviced and runs very well. Alone it is valued at $1000.
  • Sleeps 4 and sails comfortably with 6 in cockpit or deck
  • Sails include 3 jibs 150, 125, and storm jib
  • Mainsail in good condition – some small rust stains, and two 10” tears that have been well taped with sailing tape
  • Swim ladder
  • traditional interior- clean, teak & holly trim, beautiful wood cabin table for eating and games
  • pop-up top for extra headroom when anchored or in slip
  • interior lights
  • running lights
  • manual sink
  • porta potty
  • lots of storage in area under cockpit, in cabin settees and V-berth.
  • Hull, topsides and deck are in good shape with dings and scrapes you’d expect for its experience
  • Teak rails on deck were recently refinished
  • Mast repainted, and teak spreaders were refinished
  • Bottom repainted this year with VC-17
  • One 8"x 4" section of fiberglass below the waterline was damaged by the trailer cradle, and my MarineTex repair was insufficient to eliminate all water leakage. A more thorough repair with fiberglass mesh and resin will be required to completely fix the problem. Plywood section in V-berth has been cut for access to damage area from inside.

    Extra gear included:

  • Boom vang
  • Windex wind indicator
  • alcohol stove
  • 3 gal fuel tank
  • boat hook
  • flex 10-watt solar panel for battery charger
  • Danforth anchor (20' chain + 100 feet line)
  • marine battery
  • dock lines
  • fenders
  • life jackets
  • fire extinguisher
  • airhorn
  • stainless steel gas barbecue grill (clamps to rail)
  • numerous parts and supplies.

General condition and any additional information: Boat in very good condition except for the small area of fiberglass damage. Attractive boat. Easy to manage, moves well in light air. Bottom painted this spring. Have to sell – starting a new business, and 2 year old son leave little time for sailing.

Terms and Conditions: The boat is being sold as is. Buyer pays all taxes & transportation cost.
