This beautiful, exciting, well made boat would be a perfect choice for a performance oriented sailor that wants to move up from a board boat or for someone looking for a boat to race on the Texas Centerboard circuit. Although with their powerful sail plan they will easily plane in a moderate breeze, these boats are also frequently used for family day sailing. The hull and foils are all fair. The main and jib sails are both crisp and are in very good condition. All brightwork has been stripped and refinished with good quality spar varnish. This boat shows much less wear and tear than what you would expect to see in a boat of its age. This class is still in production; parts and sails are readily available from Catalina Yachts. There is an active C15 Class Association. The boat registration is current and I have a clear Texas title for her. The trailer was recently sanded, primed and refinished with good quality enamel. The bearings have been re-packed and the lights work. The tires should be replaced if the new owner will be trailing the boat long distances. The coupler requires a 2 inch ball.
Hi David, Thanks to your great website, we have sold our C15. Thanks once again for all you do to support saiing here in South Texas (and the rest of the US).
Dave
