Tri Out is a well-kept Corsair F27, sailed on the Great Lakes and currently on the Chesapeake Bay.
Race results from previous owner include 3rd 2000 Corsair F27 Nationals; Multihull High Point winner Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association 2004, 2003, 2002 and 3rd in 2005. Winner of Trans Eire 2003
Accommodations
Aft cabin that is a friendly double or a large single. The main cabin comfortably sleeps two utilizing a bunk extender on the starboard side or using a custom made insert to create one large berth. Forward there is a single in the v-berth. All cushions were replaced in 1998, they are in excellent condition and are generally not kept on the boat. The head is also located in the v-berth. Four interior lights, two in main cabin and one forward and one in aft cabin. Beige interior carpet liner covers most of the interior. Galley has a 2 burner Origo alcohol stove and a stainless steel sink w/ 18 gal water tank.
Engine
Nissan 8 hp. New Prop, 2006. The exhaust has been modified for increased reverse thrust. New control cables 2005. Modified exhaust to increase reverse thrust Engine in engine well.
Instruments
The boat is well equipped with racing instruments including Standard Horizon VHF, remote speaker on swing out arm. Instrument Pod with 4 displays – used for real wind; apparent wind; speed and depth; speed or racing clock but can display other data. Electronic compass mounted on the dagger board trunk. Garmin GPS, also on swing out arm. New bulkhead compass 1998. New battery 2005.
