Corsair F-27
This is the race ready Corsair F-27. She's been on a diet and has lost about 500 lbs. That's 20% weight loss!! She sits high in the water when at dock and her race inspired characteristics show when under sail. This boat was modified with the intension of setting a new course record for the Newport/Ensenada race this year. The seller made the decision that pushing 80 years of age was enough to cancel that plan. "You have to know when to say enough", were his words to me. The seller also holds several other speed records in long distance races in other sailboats. Making them lighter, stronger and faster is his passion.
