Custom 18' Trimaran / Proa, 2010
If you are in the market for a fast, fun, stable sailboat, take a look at this one. This custom built 2010 titled sailboat can be sailed as either a trimaran or proa. Its epoxy and marine plywood construction make it light (250 - 300 lbs.) but strong and its dual masts with new Laser sails provide exciting speed. The two new trampolines will accomodate you and up to three friends. For travel, the boat and its amas (outriggers) fit nicely on an old kayak trailer that comes with the boat.
This boat is not perfect. She could use a bit more rudder (even though the existing one works fairly well) and the seller has plans that would guide the new owner in building an improved rudder, if desired.
