1973 Dolphin 17, San Antonio, Texas, $1585, Sold 3/23/04

Here's a nice, roomy sloop rigged daysailer with plenty of space and stability for up to 6 adults. Excellent design for the short, rough chop we sometimes find on our Texas lakes. Boat features a heavy steel swing centerboard for extra stability. Other features include covered storage on both sides of the mast, aft storage, self bailing cockpit, and a kick-up rudder. Hull and sails show remarkably little wear and tear for a boat of this age. The Dilly tilt trailer has new bearings and was sanded to bare metal, primed and painted with epoxy enamel last year.
