The Dabber is the only Drascombe with a bowsprit and boomkin, rigging out to a charming small yawl. She may be sailed in fresh winds under mainsail only, or under mizzen and jib only. There is one effective set of reefing points on the main, easily rigged. This is a robust family boat suitable for leaving on a mooring, or launching off a beach. The Dabber is small and light enough to trail behind a light car.
Included is a 15 lb Danforth Anchor with 100' of rode, and ten feet of chain. The boat has its original oars and oarlocks.
Honda 2hp, 4-stroke air cooled outboard. It was bought about four years ago and used only one hour, before being put away in a barn. I haven’t photographed the motor, but will do if need be.
EZ Loader Trailer, bought in 2004, and immediately put away in storage in a barn in New Hampshire. It's been in fresh water only once, and Squam Lake, and not used again (due to illness).
Yes, I had a Datsun truck that was pretty good for years.
So, David, the boat has been sold through your ad, so thanks for all your help. When I get the final payment, I'll send you a little contribution. I’ve taken a hefty deposit, but am waiting for the guy to send the rest of the money in two weeks.
I still have the Honda motor for sale, as they guy doesn’t need it.
Thanks so much.
