1975 Force 5

Beam: 4' 10"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Sail Area: 91 square feet
Design Portsmouth # 96.6
Galvanized trailer
Here's a well designed boat that guarantees a good skipper a great time. The huge sail area and flat aft section enable you to plane the boat in moderate winds. The wide beam and hard chines give good initial stability and spare you that rock'n and rollin' sensation common to Lasers. The freshly varnished teak brightwork and Honduran mahogany centerboard and rudder never fail to elicit admirable comments and looks from fellow sailors. This boat has always been garaged; the gel coat is nice and glossy. The black anodized spars are straight and true and the sail's in good shape. The novel cockpit layout allows her to be sailed with an adult at the helm and still provides room for a small to medium size crew person. Weeks Yacht Yard continues to manufacture Force 5's and all replacement parts. A new Force 5 is now $4350 plus tax w/o trailer.
Hi David.
I have sold my 1975 Force 5. Thanks once again for running my ad and for all you do to support sailing here in South Texas.
