1971 Gulf Coast 15

  • Dilly trailer. lights work on boat and trailer good tires on trailer no extra charge for the rust.. Registration is expired on both.
  • I have two sets of sails-main & jib, one set pretty used one set not used much. Hull is clean except for minor scratches from beaching a few times. boat is ready to sail except for registration, it has been sitting for a couple of years but I will be cleaning and polishing the topsides to pretty her up. The Gulf coast is a very easy and forgiving boat, easy to singlehand but will take 3-4 folks with ease. It has a wide beam for stability and moves out well when given her head. Has metal kick up center board and rudder. I have been as far out as 8 miles in the gulf sailing around the oil rigs off Corpus no fear-she handles wind and waves like a duck.
  • Hull also has foam filled sections inside hull so even if holed and flooded she will bring you home safe (if somewhat damp). An excellent boat for beginner or experienced sailor it is just a fun boat to sail. I have too many boats and am planning a move so it's time she had a new owner, I have had her for more than 10 years.
