  • Ballast 320#

  • 2 sails: main, jib, (jiffy reefing - main)
  • large, open, self-bailing cockpit (scupper holes at stern)

  • hatch cover and one-piece fiberglass companionway hatch
  • mainsheet run to stern
  • boom vang and Windex

    CONDITION:

  • Hull is the very solid. The fiberglass is very thick and solid compared to modern building techniques. The fiberglass is cosmetically very weathered from the sun due to outside storage.
  • mast and boom in excellent condition
  • sails are used and show some wear and staining but are in good, usable overall condition
  • Sails are original and in good sailable condition
  • Bow lights present but needs battery and need some wiring
  • tiller is old and could use an upgrade
  • motor mount sturdy but needs a new mounting board (could be fabricated from wood (...just add a 2-HP Honda with integrated gas tank and you'll be ready to go!)
  • trailer is rusty due to outdoor storage and will need paint and trailer cradles need new carpet covers.

I've owned this boat one year and sailed it many times over the past year. It's very easy to sail and to trailer. It should be considered a project boat due to cosmetics and the trailer is in very old condition. I pulled the boat down I-35 for 5 hours with no problems but the trailer needs attention to be safe. With that said this is a great, stable, keeled day-sailer. It sits nice and low on the trailer and is easy to set up, launch and tow. It could be a very economical way to get out on the water. The reason I'm selling it is that I a friend gave me another Gulf Coast 18 and it's cosmetically nicer with a restored trailer.

I'm asking $1000 for everything in as is condition. It will need to be picked up in Canyon Lake Texas. (Between Austin and San Antonio)

I want to thank you for helping me sell my sailboat. I sold it this past weekend for the asking price. The buyer came here and we took it for a sail and he went home with the boat. You and your website are great. I've now bought and sold a boat from your site. It's a great help!
Please put sold on the site because I'm getting two or three emails a day asking about it.
    Thanks a Million
