1974 Gulf Coast 20

  • LOA 20'
  • Beam 6'11"
  • Ballast 175#
  • Draft: keel up 9", keel down 4'
  • Swing Keel (cast iron, 175 lb)
  • 4 sails: main, jib, roller furling genoa, jiffy reefing main
  • Large, open cockpit (can seat family and friends)
  • Newer kick up rudder of solid aluminum
  • Aluminum motor mount (only a year old)
  • New turnbuckles (March 06)
  • Cuddy cabin with storage
  • Mid boom mainsheet traveler
  • 1971 4hp Evinrude short shaft, starts easy and runs great (will reduce asking price of boat if I keep motor)
  • All teak replaced with Polymer (including hand rails); March 06
  • Hull is very solid. The fiberglass is very thick and solid compared to modern building techniques
  • Mast and Boom in good condition
  • Sails are used and show some ware but are usable overall condition; some in great shape
  • Trailer is galvanized with large tires. New lights, wiring, tounge and tounge lift

This is a great, stable, keeled daysailer. Trailer is road worthy and ready to go. Both trailer and boat have current registration, clear title. It is a very economical way to get on the water and have some fun.

Sold it today. Thanks for the help.
