Boat is in great shape and has seen minimal use since I bought it in 2001.
The boat has been well maintained and has had lots of upgrades in the past few years including:
New shrouds - last month
New mahogany rudder - The boat did not have a rudder when I bought it
New aluminum rudder stock
New tiller
New tiller extension
New motor mount - not installed
New Thwart board - the board that goes across the centerboard trunk
New center board control lines
Center board mounts were removed, holes filled with epoxy and redrilled
New bailers - glass around bailers was removed and refilled with matt/epoxy mix
New hiking straps
It is a true whaler - foam filled and unsinkable.
1969 1.5hp Evinrude. I will consider selling the outboard separately.
Usually sailed in saltwater, but engine has only been used in lakes. The outboard came from the mid west, so I don't think that it has ever been in salt water - no corrosion.
The trailer comes with a spare and it pulls well. The bearings were replaced last year along with the bunks and most of the bolts. There is surface rust on the axle and leaf springs, but everything is solid.
