The Hobie Holder 17 is a stable, quick, comfortable and especially beautiful daysailor.
The boat features an enormous cockpit with room for 6 adults.
Even with 10 foot long cockpit seats Hobie still managed to fit an enclosed head in its cuddy.
The lifting keel makes her simple to trailer and launch while her burgundy Hull and cream decks make her a site to see while sailing or on a mooring.
One of my favorite features, the rudder, is unique in that when you lift the tiller, the rudder goes up, and when you lower the tiller, the rudder goes down.
The Hobies running rigging is new and all her wood has been stripped down with 8 coats of varnish added to protect and add to her beauty.
Her sails (Main and Jib) are in Like NEW condition with no rips, tears or repairs.
The sails are 2 years old.
Hard antifouling bottom paint (trillux 33) was just done and the boat will be virtually maintenance free for the next 3-5 years.
