pre-1973 Howmar 14
No manufacturer's name on the boat, but the tiller has Howmar stamped on
it. Looks like a Sunfish on steroids. Similar to a Sunfish, but is a
bigger, heavier and higher (and dryer) boat with a cat-rigged sail. This is
NOT a Sunfish, it is a comparable (but larger) boat.
SPECS & FEATURES:
Length: 14' 3"
Mast length: 17'
Weight: 150-175 pounds (estimated)
Capacity: 2-3 people
Anodized aluminum mast and boom
Aluminum tiller with extension
Forward lazarette for storage, ice chest or small child
Can be towed by any 4-cylinder car
Hull is in good shape for its age. Sail is in very good condition with no
tears or stains.
Boat could be carried in a full-size pickup, if you didn't want the trailer.
CUSTOM TRAILER with:
Rolling tongue jack
1 7/8" hitch
Trailer could handle most boats from 8' to 14' in length. Could easily be
modified for wider boats. Bunks are in good shape.
I am also including a How to Sail book and a photo CD with rigging

Comes with a Tempe Town Lake annual permit (normally $30) which is good
until April 2009.
