1994 Hunter 23.5
Mi Amante is a newly refurbished and well maintained easy to sail, comfortable, trailerable day sailor with overnight accommodations for four. She has had many improvements including dual axle trailer, roller furling headsail, stern rail seats, new Bimini and brand new 8 hp four stroke engine. She comes complete with all the Standard features of the Hunter 23.5, including, Hunter mast raising system, swing centerboard, kick-up rudder, stainless swim ladder, double berths forward and aft, dinette table for cabin or cockpit, galley sink, forward opening hatch, fire extinguisher, molded in non-skid deck, anchor locker, nearly new non-pressure alcohol stove, tiller steering and two large cockpit lockers. She comes with life jackets for four, two anchors, four new fenders and a new windex on mast. 2000lbs. dry 3000lbs. with water ballast.
Completely refurbished trailer with new second axle, new springs, shackles, bearings, brackets wheels, tires, wiring, lights, bow stop, winch strap and the Snaptraxx revolutionary modular injection molded boat trailer bunk cover system. Also included are, new house battery, new starting battery, 2007 Icom handheld vhf radio, 2007 Garmin handheld GPS with blue carts maps and a 2007 Raymarine st40 depth display.
Improvements to the hull, deck, rigging, engine, and interior include: Blue water hard finish anti-fowling bottom paint, stern rail seats from Hunter, bimini, wood tiller, tiller tamer, telescoping tiller extender, lifelines and GPS mount. The engine is a 2007 Tohatsu 8hp 4-stroke with electric start and charging. All the running rigging was replaced in 2007 with new clam cleats and rode guides. The hatch boards and steps were replaced with new wood as well.
The boat trailers like a dream, is easy to sail single-handed, motor starts on second turn with a push of a button, cockpit is roomy, interior looks almost new, easy loading and unloading with the Snaptraxx bunk system, a fun boat to own, great boat for beginners and experienced helmsmen, good family boat, hull in excellent condition. Get all the upgrades of a H240 or H260 for the price of a 23.5! You will not find a nicer 23.5. (More photos upon request)
