This is absolutely the most beautiful Hunter 240 on the market today.
She rides on a galvanized trailer with brakes and sports a nice 2001 Mercury 8 hp outboard. Currently, she resides in a slip on Lake Lewisville that is included in the purchase price.
The very clean interior has fabric covered cushions and ample space in the V berth as well as the aft berth. There is an oval galley table that is adjustable, removable and can be used in the cockpit as well. The galley area is equipped with sink, storage, Glomate 1300 portable gas stove and ice box/cooler. Alpine AM/FM/CD/Sat stereo with cockpit speakers. She is also equipped with a porta-potty.
The cockpit is furnished with a Saturn bulkhead mounted compass, fold down telescoping stainless steel swim ladder, cockpit cushions, stern rail seats and bimini top. A nice SS Magma gas grill is accessible for grillin’ on the water. The deck is set up for smooth sailing with a roller furling jib, a reefing mainsail, a pair of Lewmar #6 winches with all lines led aft into the cockpit. This Hunter 240 is has to be the newest looking 2000 model in existence. The bottom is painted for permanent parking in the slip. This is one of the easiest boats to trailer, set up and sail, even single handed. The water ballast swing keel design makes it stable and forgiving. This also helps reduce weight and trailer height for the hi-way. Hunter developed a great mast raising system that makes it a snap to setup and take down.
