26' 6" length
Great condition. This is a great boat for use as a weekender or for longer liveabord. It sleeps 5 comfortably. The 8hp Tohatsu (1998) outboard was professionally rebuilt in 2007 and comes complete with electric start and remote controls and starts, runs, and shifts well. Both sails (main and jib) just came back from a check over by a sail loft with minor repairs completed. The fiberglass is in excellent shape overall with no soft spots in the deck. There are the normal little dings and gelcoat cracks as it is an older boat.
The alcohol stove works great (not much to go wrong with these) and the galley sink and freshwater washdown are fed by an electric pump from the built in 18-gallon water tank. A working porta-potti is on board. Two batteries are aboard to power the 12v systems. They charge automatically via a built-in 15 amp charging system while on shore power. All the upholstery is in excellent condition with no tears (and is a nice color, not like some old retro-looking sailboat upholstery). One of the nicest features is the teak floor and woodwork and cabinets, which are in excellent condition. The wing keel has a relatively shallow draft (3' 6") which is good for backwater sailing. The boat also comes with a Goldstar 5,000 BTU air conditioning unit for use while on shore power. A VHF radio is installed in the cabin and a depth meter and compass are installed on deck. All of these function just fine.
What needs to be done: All electrical works properly except for the mast lights which won't come on- maybe a bulb, maybe new wiring? I haven't had a chance to take the mast down to look into it. The sink's electric pump doesn't seem to be moving water and will need to be repaired or replaced.
Boat was bottom painted 2.5 years ago by a previous owner and the bottom was cleaned 9 months ago. I have more pictures available via email for anyone who is interested. This is a great boat that's in ready-to-sail condition (just got back from sailing it from North Carolina to New Jersey last week).
Please contact me by email if you have any questions. I also have more photos available for anyone who may be interested.
David:
I needed the boat sold before I left for school so I ended up selling it on eBay. Thanks for your help during the process.
