1988 Hunter 26.5
Exceptionally clean and well-cared-for. Numerous extras, lines, safety equipment, etc. included in sale. Everything needed to sail is there. Everything is in good or better working condition except the VHF radio which doesn't seem to work. Unbelievably fresh and clean inside and out, dry cabin with no leaks! This boat is sailed regularly year-round and is fresh-water flushed and rinsed after every use.

Noteworthy items Spring 2006...1988 Nissan outboard with cockpit electric start and throttle was re-conditioned and painted last spring and looks and runs like new!
New fuel tank and lines.
Professional bottom job, compound and wax.
New plexiglass portlights.
Updated decals for a contemporary look.
Re-stiched sunfabric and clew on jib.
New Kenwood speakers installed in the cockpit.
New circuit panel, some mast wiring, and lights.
New dock lines and jib lines.
All exterior teak was replaced with aluminum or stainless except the gangway panel and slidebar
Other details...Sony CD/stereo, 110v refrigerator, ss sink with hand pump, alcohol stove, place for a portapottie in the v-berth (the pottie was removed and not replaced, but the molded fiberglass space is still there), self-furling jib, all lines lead aft, cockpit traveler, cunnigham, mainsail cover, bimini, dbl v-berth, settees port and starboard, dbl aft berth, fold-down teak salon table.
Known defects...Hull shows minor, non-structural blistering. Sole could use freshening-up, VHF radio not functional, bimini showing some wear at leading edge, minor fiberglass crazing in a few spots on the deck, knotmeter works well but the paddle-wheel is prone to underwater growth ans sticks sometimes, Main winches are a little dry.
Overall excellent condition, way better than the average 88 boat and probably the nicest 88 Hunter on Galveston Bay!!
