This is A LOT of boat for the money, a fast comfortable racer/cruiser. The Hunter 34 is recognized as one of the best values in the used sailboat market. The Hunter 34 is very roomy and makes a good live-aboard. They are very fast, quite large inside and are easy to maintain. It's said that Hunter packed a 40' boat inside this 34' hull! The Hunter 34 is a sloop rig, shoal keel, spade rudder, with tall double B&R style spreader, mast head rig. All halyards, sheets, traveler and vang lines are led back to cockpit for easy single-handed sailing. When we bought Glory Bound she was on the hard getting her bottom and topside painted. The cabin sole had been removed along with most of the galley. We replaced the sole with wide strip mahogany with black caulk joints instead of the traditional teak and holey. It looks great! While we we're at it we removed the table and converted the booth seating into a U shaped arrangement resulting in more floor space. New seat cushions and new pillows for the backs. A new filler turns it into a double berth. The galley got a new formica counter top. The stove/oven was replaced with a portable gas burner allowing for a huge base cabinet and more work space when needed. A new 110v refrigerator/freezer runs off a 1000w inverter (we have ice!) . The inverter also runs our laptop and other appliances. We use the cooler box for storage. The v berth has 8" memory foam and an extended platform which make a very comfortable double berth.

The yanmar runs strong and smooth but the hours are unknown. I've maintained it religiously and the yard mechanic at the yard that we bought her assured us that the previous owner did also. The main sail is in good condition and the head sail will need to be replaced but is usable
