This is A LOT of boat for the money, a fast comfortable racer/cruiser. The Hunter 34 is very roomy and makes a good live-aboard. They are very fast, quite large inside and are easy to maintain. The Hunter 34 is a sloop rig, shoal keel, spade rudder, with tall double B&R style spreader, mast head rig. All halyards, sheets, traveler and vang lines are led back to cockpit for easy single-handed sailing. When we bought Invictus she was prepared for interior restoration, the cabin sole had been removed along with most of the galley and floor replaced. Saloon and cockpit cushions redone last year. A new filler turns it into a double berth. The galley got 3/4 inch finished floors, a new teak counter top and a new Cypress dinning table. The stove/oven was replaced with a portable electric cook top allowing for a huge base cabinet and more work space when needed. The inverter also runs our laptop and other appliances. The v berth was insulated and 4' maple locking planks added which makes for a very good looking and very comfortable double berth.
The yanmar runs strong and smooth with low hours.
We've maintained it religiously and the owner we bought her from remains good friends and assured us that he did as well.
The main sail is only two years old, and the head sail in good condition. Whisker pole, spiniker pole and extra sails and many extra's go with the vessel.
A little finish work and polish and you will have you a new boat.
