1984 Islander 28
The motor is a Yanmar inboard diesel and has been winterized along with all of the boats plumbing systems. The Islanders were designed by Bob Perry and built for sailing in the ocean, a much sturdier boat than your normal production boats. There is 6' of headroom as well. The boat is usable as is, if someone wants to sail this season and perhaps pull it this fall and do the work needed.
I purchased it two years ago. It sat and water got in and deteriorated the cabin sole. And also like all old Islanders it needs attention to the ports and forward hatch - either new or needs re-sealing.
