This Islander was brought to Navajo Reservoir in 2007 from Ventura California. In Ventura, she got a new bottom paint job with Vivid paint that stays active as bottom paint, which is perfect for lake sailing. All standing rigging was replaced 2007. Robert Perry is a world class designer and considers the 28 to be one of his finest designs. The boat sails fast and smooth, and is extremely comfortable inside for cruising.
