Description of Refit
The bottom was sandblasted and barrier coated with Amerlock. The rudder was rebuilt to spec. A new stainless steel mast step was built and glassed in. A new IP350 mast was put on the boat with all new standing rigging, swedged on the top end and staylocks on the lower end. A removable inner forestay with running backstays was added. The deck was reinforced at the mast, so that all mast control lines could be led back to the cockpit. Two harken 32 self tailing winches were installed on the cockpit coach roof for these control lines. All running rigging was replaced (i.e. halyards & sheets). Cockpit scupper were enlarged for fast drainage. The entire electrical system was replaced and all new navigational equipment installed. A new battery box and bank was installed (400AH AGM batteries) with a separate start battery. All plumbing was replaced with new bronze through hull fittings and valves. Two new stainless steel water tanks were installed. The engine driven refrigerator/freezer was redone. A new Force 10 stainless steel stove and oven was installed. A pressurized hot and cold cockpit shower was installed. A pressurized raw water deck/chain wash was installed. The salon table was redesigned and installed for greater safety. Pad eyes were installed around the boat for safety lines.
