The Meander has just undergone a complete refurbish from top
to bottom. The boat was recently (2009) hauled out and the hull
was cleaned, sanded, painted and surveyed.
The entire boat has been completely painted with Awl Grip
paint professionally.
All wood throughout the boat, inside and out has been restored
and treated.
This boat is completely original. No modifications or changes to
the original sold boat. It can be compared to the original sales
brochure and is identical.
When I say original take me literally. That means no nail holes in the walls, no screw holes. Original !!!
The only major modification that is not original is the installation of a new Coast Guard approved holding tank and macerator pump. And of course all
Coast Guard required safety equipment has been added.
Some small things like a battery switch, GPS Chartplotter,
Depth Gauge, New Electric Toilet (12 volt). All else is just as
was sold new. Even original 36hp diesel engine.
This boat is a very rare boat. Built by the Chung Hwa Boatbuilding Co., Taiwan. Very hard to find for sale and especially in the original condition. They are hand crafted one at a time. The luxurious interior is all teak and all
hand carved. A very, very spacious and beautiful boat that sails
steady, strong and graceful. This is true traditional sailing at its
best.
This boat is in like new condition and ready to sail.
