1983 J/22, #71
Always a Colorado boat, bought new from Rocky Mountain Marine in 1983. Spent some time in Pueblo, Carter Lake and is now dry docked Chatfield Reservoir (slot #75). Hull #71, circa 1983.
She has a very nice teflon epoxy bottom (VC Underwater).
faired keel and rudder.
Bulkheads have been replaced and epoxied.
3 sets of sails, one of which is competitive (Quantums).
All running rigging in working condition.
Mostly Harken deck hardware.
Center sheeting main cleat, great for roll tacking.
Cross sheeting pods.
Class legal anchor, chain and rode.
EZ Loader roller trailer.
Minimum weight, 65 lbs of corrector weights installed.
2 HP Honda 4stroke outboard (23 lbs).
Lifting bridle and upgraded lifting bar.
Bulkhead mounted compass.
She has competed at the 2000 NAs and 2002 Worlds.
She is race ready, just
add water.
