Foam injected hull that provides over 1000 lbs. of positive flotation
All JY sailboats are constructed with an outer plastic skin, a central foam core and an inner fiberglass skin. The outer plastic skin is 1/8" thick and is a co-extrusion of high impact resistant ABS and UV resistant Plexiglas which is many times stronger than fiberglass. There are no fibers to break down; the hull will not become soft, and it is easier to maintain and repair than fiberglass.
There are more than 80 active fleets and more than 2000 JY15s nationwide.
The JY15 can be easily rigged, launched and sailed by one person.
This JY15 is in excellent condition and ready to go regatta racing.
