All JY 15 are constructed with an outer ABS plastic skin, foam core (1000 lbs of flotation) and an inner fiberglass skin. ABS is many times stronger than fiberglass and is UV resistant, there is no fiber to break down; the hull will not become soft and it is easier to maintain and repair than fiberglass.
The JY 15 can be rigged, launched and sailed by one person.
