This Laser 2 is in good condition, but shows some wear. The deck in and around the cockpit has some surface cracks in the gel coat. The main hull appears to be in very good condition with a few nicks and rubs. The foils have normal wear and tear for the age of the boat. We bought the boat in approximately 1986. At that time, we repaired all nicks in the gel coat and repainted the hull navy blue and the deck white with a very high quality marine paint. We have kept the boat inside for most of the time we have owned the boat. One season we had to store it outside

All parts on the Laser 2 are working and the boat is in sailing condition. The trapeze wires are mismatched because one is brand new. The new trapeze wire is really nice.

We have five sails for the boat- two mainsails, two jibs and one spinnaker. One mainsail and jib are original to the boat and in OK condition. We purchased the second mainsail, jib, and spinnaker. These sails are in good condition.

We have a good North Sail Trapeze Bucket that comes with the boat. We also have the original Laser Class Association Handbook with rigging instructions. Additionally, we have a separate tiller bar extension which allows you to single hand sail the boat on the wire if you really want some fun. We have single-handed sailed this boat a few times and it was outrageous! Finally, we have a hitch and ball if needed.

Your site was terrific. I sold my boat five days after posting it on your site. I had at least 6 serious inquiries from people who had seen my boat on your site. We live in a small town and without your site, I would never have sold my boat so quickly and at the asking price. I had inquiries from out of state. The buyer drove about 4 hours to buy my boat!
