Chrysler Lone Star, 13ft., 1968
She's rough, but ready.
I hurt my back and now it's no more sailing (bummer).
Trailer has a little rust, but new tires, buddy bearings and running lights.
Unit has not been in the water since 2002 because of water levels
in our reservoirs and now they're closed due to the mussel infestation.
I need to drive 80 miles one way to put her in the water.
I've kept up the reg and tags are all current.
The boat is kind of a "super stock".
I lost the main sheet and didn't have the money to replace it stock.
I found a great deal in a new sail (larger) for $50.00.
It didn't fit with the boom length so I had a new boom
fabricated to fit the sail.
The sail is now an addition 1/3 area over the original design and so the
stock rudder was not enough in the water to sail effectively.
The rudder has been replaced with a Hobie 18 rudder assembly.
Other modification were made, just ask.
So for the "adventurous" sailor, this boat can be a blast.
Location: Boulder Creek, CA. Monterey Bay area.
