The MacGregor has quite a few features for a 25' boat. It is reputed to be one of the fastest "Trailer Sailors" ever made. It can charge full speed into the wind and runs like a deer. It's a great boat.
Can be rigged, launched and loaded single hand. I sail it weekly during the season and is always ready to sail. If you have any questions, please ask.
The last true sailboat Macgregor designed (before going to the water ballast system). Draws 22 inches with the 625 lb. keel up and 5' 8" with the keel down. Launches anywhere you can launch a powerboat. Total displacement is 2100 lbs.
Overall condition is good to very good for a 1985. The gel coat has a few chips and dings consistent with 20 years of use. The hull is sound and the swing keel easy to use. The bottom is clean and only sailed in fresh water. The interior cushions are in good shape with no stains or holes. This boat is in very good condition and is priced below NADA value. If you wish to view the boat it is available in Indianapolis, Indiana or Brookville, Indiana. Delivery can be negotiated.
