The "Eve J." is in good shape overall and has a lot of features that make her fun to take the crew out. She can be beached or enjoyed in shallow water. She can be raced competitively under PHRF rules or cruised for a weekend or a week. She is easily rigged in 30 minutes and can be stored on the trailer in a 30 foot space.
This is a great boat to sail, very forgiving of mistakes and able to keep the crew safe in a storm. She has been sailed in all kinds of conditions on Narragansett Bay (salt water) for 7 years. I have usually singlehanded her. The swing keel makes it easy to get out of trouble if you run aground. Her foam flotation makes her unsinkable. She is a great boat to learn on and still gives a thrill to a sailor with experience.
I've listed a bunch of upgrades and accessories that come with her:
New (ish) ('06) Main with full battens and a loose foot, 3 sets of reef points and an enlarged leach. Always covered.
The sail was custom built with an enlarged leach and a custom extended masthead crane.
