1991 Macgregor 26S

Description:

  • Includes main, 100% jib, 150% Genoa, all are hank on in great condition Main sail was sent to Sailcare over 2006/7 winter - cleaned, reinforced, and new logo added
  • Halyards led aft with rope clutches (see pictures) making it easy to singlehand
  • Winches, cleats, boom vang, main sheet tackle all in good condition
  • Genoa tracks added for trimming of the genoa
  • Rigging in excellent shape with quick release at forestay for ease in mast raising
  • Includes mercury 9.8 HP 2 cycle, great condition, starts with 2-3 pulls
  • New gas tank in 2007
  • Has pop top with camping cover
  • Includes portipottie, cockpit cushions, pop top with camping cover, anchor, fenders, docklines
  • Multiple cabin pockets and clear bins attached in cabin for storage
  • Shore power inlet with AC outlet in cabin (no AC appliances or features)
  • Lazarette and forward hatch have ventillators installed
  • Includes Loran receiver and antenna (works), depth sounder (not sure if it works - I did not use it)
  • Cabin light and running lights work fine. Mast-head (anchor) light not working
  • Added laminate flooring to cabin (2006)
  • New stern rail and ladder added (this was new old stock that I found on the internet. It's made by the original rail maker for Macgregor and is the highest quality one they offered (see pictures). Includes holes to hold mast carrier (included) and/or a flagpole (not included).
  • Added backing plate in lazarette when I installed the new ladder with multiple hooks to hang dock lines, fenders, etc. (2007)
  • Added AAA-battery powered touch lights to aft berth, head, and V-berth - works great (2006)
  • Made privacy curtains for V-berth and for head (removed head door, but still have it) (2007)
  • New tiller cover - burgundy to match stripes on hull (2007)
  • Added shelf board to head to store bathroom items (2007)

    Trailer:

  • Standard Macgregor factory trailer
  • Tires less than 3 years old
  • Primed and painted entire trailer (2006)
  • New winch (2006)
  • New master cylinder for surge brakes (2006)
  • New bunks (2006)
  • New carpet (2006)
  • New waterproof LED lighting system and all new wiring (2006)
  • Covered boat-centering posts with PVC pipe and new caps - can be seen in photo (2006)
  • Repacked and replaced all wheel bearings (2006)
  • New spare tire carrier (2007)

    We are selling due to a work relocation. We've had a great time camping with a family of four in this boat.
