We spent 3 weeks on this great sailboat touring the San Juan Islands and British Columbia during the summer. What an adventure! Now it's your turn.
This boat is well equipped for your excursions.
The Yamaha 9.9 High Thrust is arguably the best motor for this boat. An economical outboard, it has new spark plugs, fuel pump, and impeller, the oil and gear lube have been changed. It has an alternator to keep the battery charged. There are two batteries on board-one for the cabin(less than a year old) and one reserved for starting.
A good complement of sails makes for enjoyable and safe journeys. It is equipped with a main with jiffy reefing, a jib; the genoa and heavy weather jib are less than a year old.
A pop-top with tent attachment offers stand-up headroom with few invasions from mosquitoes.
Storage is usually difficult in a small boat. Large stuff bins have been added to the V-berth and after double berth for clothes. A galley rack has been added to keep eating and cooking utensils organized and handy. A large water tank under the V-berth with an electric pump has been added for cooking convenience.
A porta-potti in an enclosed head is private and discreet.
The Loran helps you find your way, the VHF lets you call ahead to marinas to secure an overnight berth, and the AM/FM cassette allows you to play your favorite music.
The trailer which takes you on all of your adventures has a new actuator for the brakes and the tires are less than a year old.
