The 26X is ideal for shallow water conditions 9" to 5’ 6" draft. The boat is forgiving and very stable for experienced sailors. It is also ideal boat for beginners with detail instruction manual to begin sailing and motoring. I have all the literature on all the systems, the owners manual and articles on the 26X
