1998 Martin 243

  • The M243 is the result of more than 20 years of design and construction experience with small high performance keelboats. While this history belies her keelboat heritage the M243's contemporary genesis and design direction is almost purely Australian 18 foot skiff. Today, most high-performance keelboats in this size range are hotted-up derivations of mid 80's keelboats. The M243 introduces a new style of keelboat sailing: Simple, powerful, safe, and fast! The M243 is sailed by a team of 3 or 4 (max crew weight 700 lbs). The entire crew sits facing inboard with all major control lines at hand. Imagine sailing at over wind speed in 10 knots of wind with the main and spinnaker sheets leading directly to the crew's hands via ratchet blocks. It is the fastest 24' sailboat in North America. PHRF rated at 69 in the Mid West. All new sheets and halyards in 2008. New Tramp Netting in fall of 2008. Boat is ready to sail but would need a new Mainsail for competitive racing.

    David,
I received the money for my Martin 243 on Saturday and he picked up the boat so the sale is finalized. Thanks You so much for your help I actually have another boat I would like to list with you. Do you list boats for boat dealers as well or just individuals? You have sold both of my race boats for me and I have 1 more personal boat I would like to sell but I am also a boat dealer and was wondering if I would be able to list any of my brokerage boats on your website and how that works. Let me know.
    Thank You,
    Mike
