Morgan Out Island 33 ft, 1979

"Patience" is all set for serious cruising. This boat has been extensively refitted over the past two years. Everything works. Below deck hydraulic autopilot (Raymarine), Garmin 540s GPS with depth sounder, Raymarine wind meter, Raymarine speed meter - all integrated and talking to each other. New Bimini with windshields (sometimes called a dodger), stern perch seats, remote control for autopilot lets you steer the boat from anywhere on board. Sails very solid and functional, Schaffer roller furler, boom vang (new) and whisker pole give great flexibility in trimming sails. Forward Danforth anchor works like a charm. New life lines and recently finished teak rails. All ports replaced a year ago. Below deck sleeps 6 comfortably. Stove, oven, sink, fridge all work. New air conditioner installed last August works great. Numerous fans for those less hot days (2 yrs old). Perkins 4-108 50 hp diesel engine runs like a charm and can muscle you off those rare groundings. Cutlass bearing replaced 2 yrs ago and bottom paint applied last Fall. Head, shower, sink and plenty of storage in bathroom. Replaced all sanitary hose and installed macerator pump to dump waste when out in the Gulf. All cushions recovered with durable vinyl two years ago. Most light fixtures use low power LEDs. Anchor light fixture replaced last summer, also using a low power LED. Battery bank has over 400 amp hr in house battery with back up / starting battery of 100 amp hr. Two independent bilge pumps, all needed navigation lights, pedestal steering. We love this boat but don't have enough time to enjoy her.
