64 hp Perkins diesel 4 cyl 4-154,year 1977 2900 hours (2400 hours on original hour meter and 500 hours on the replacement odometer). Engine runs perfect. No smoke. No knocking. Oil and filter changed every 50 hours or twice a year (whichever came first) w/ 20% Durelon and 80% Shell Rotella T. Never laid off w/ used oil. Hand cranked w/ new oil and filter prior to laying off for season. Valve clearances adjusted to 0.015" in July '09. 2 six volt batteries (serial mounted for house). One 12 volt battery for starting (windless and single side band radio have their own batteries).
This is a genuine blue water sailboat. Did not stall in 25' seas in Yucatan Channel. It was originally designed by Charley Morgan for Miami-Nassau races. Built very solid!
UPDATE: Boat is also available w/ brand new floating dock built by Sullivan Systems, Inc. This dock has a 50 year warranty and includes yacht club membership. If interested in package deal, $95,000 obo for both sailboat & dock.
